VOC
(Voice of the Customer)
The
"Voice of the Customer" is the term used to describe
the stated and unstated needs or requirements of the customer.
The “Voice of the Customer” can be captured in a variety of
ways: Direct discussion or interviews, surveys, focus groups,
customer specifications, observation, warranty data, field reports,
complaint logs, etc.
Project
Charters
The
charter serves as a "contract" between the organization’s
leadership and the project team created at the outset of the
project. Its purpose is:
•To
clearly define the problem
•Keep
the team focused on the problem at hand
•To
ensure all stakeholders are in agreement with the terms of the
contract
•To
document the baseline performance and the objective of the improvement
Measurement
System Analysis (MSA)
An accurate and precise measurement system is critical to the success of any project. A MSA is performed to validate the measurements that are used in the project before any improvements can be made.
